Precious family time

As promised here is the update about our trip with Rob's family - and some other miscellaneous stuff that's been going on around here.

Rob's family vacations every year on the Jersey Shore - Long Beach Island. We were able to spend a few days there this summer and had a great time. Luke was scared of the ocean at first but ended up loving it and going in up to his waist.

The boys - Rob, Luke, Pops.

Family photo shoot.

The Stevens/Brown clan.

Ice cream night.

Sunset over the Bay with Nana and Pops.

In other news:
I had a workshop all last weekend and was exhausted when I got home. Luke put me to sleep by covering me up, giving me his Pooh Bear, and singing me Twinkle Twinkle (notice how he's kneeling - that's what we do with him)...

...and by rubbing my head.

Sweetest boy ever!!!

And we went to see Kevin, Emily, and 'Tad' (that's what they call the baby) over the weekend. When we got home, Luke - completely on his own - put an animal up his shirt and was saying, "Luke's Tad". In the video he's saying "Tad, that's Tad". This kid keeps us laughing all the time!

I'm so grateful to my grandparents for making that beach house possible for future generations. Also so thankful to have my whole family together to enjoy it. Thanks Kerry Ann for documenting this family trip. I love you.
