Drum roll.......

Luke has been practicing a lot on the drums!!! It amazes me the interest he has in it and how well he is learning it. Other than teaching him the words, 'flam', 'rimshot', and 'cowbell part of the cymbal' he has picked everything up just by watching Kevin play. {He watches Kevin do the for mentioned items..... we just teach him the terminology.} We do not sit down and show him anything.

Here is is playing a little rhythm he made up by himself.
{Make sure you notice his little feet hanging down. This set is for 3-6 year old so he can't reach the bass drum petal yet!!!}

You will also notice what his new favorite word is - asserting that new found independence!!!



His favorite song is "Alive Again" by Matt Maher. I'm trying to upload a video of him playing that but it is too long so I will have to get another. Stay tuned!!!!
