Pumpkin 'pickin'

We took Luke to get a pumpkin yesterday. We can't find any real pumpkin patches down here where you ride out into the field and pick your own pumpkin. Instead, they just have the pumpkins all laid out in a yard. We still thought Luke would enjoy it and thought it would be a good photo-op. Well.... with a really excited toddler racing all over to see if he could touch every single pumpkin, and with the sun setting and really horrible shadows, it didn't work out so well (the photo-op that is). We had a great time though and Luke was adorable. It is so great to see kids get excited over seemingly little things. He picked out two little pumpkins that he loves sitting on the floor holding. (He did throw some at the 'patch' thinking they were balls so hopefully that won't happen at home.... :))
