Look at me go! Another post! Here is the promised post on our weekend getaway. It was pretty low-key. We just wanted to be together and enjoy not doing any work. Luke was super excited to swim at the hotel {no pictures of that but trust me - we spent A. LOT. of time in the water}. I also didn't get any great pictures of the little zoo that we went to. It was cold and fun. :)
We went to Asheville and enjoyed the scenery and family time.Luke loved using the bed as a couch:
And his favorite thing to do was play 'hotel':
We went to the very first Earth Fare {I know- try to contain your excitement.}:
And had a picnic on the bed and enjoyed some delicious Chick-Fil-A:
He also got a 'kick' out of wearing his shoes over his jammas down to breakfast:
Seriously - leave it to my child to want to read the Bible while he is -ahem- going potty:
After our great stay in Asheville we started our Staycation at home. We watched the game and had pizza delivered. That was only the second time in my entire life I had delivery so it was a huge novelty for me and Luke. {Don't worry -- we were just throwing footballs at the Packers jersey on the couch.}On Monday we played tennis and enjoyed free admission at the Children's Museum:
I know it doesn't look overly thrilling but we had such an amazing time. I love so much that Luke enjoys the little things and it doesn't take much to excite him.

So glad you could have some time with just your sweet family. That picture of you and Luke is unbelievable... he looks 10.
It was some really good memories. We kept it simple, but that's the way we like it. and Luke entertained us with playing hotel and the swimming...thanks for making such a nice "scrapbook" of our trip. Love you!
