Field Trips & Halloween

Last week Luke went on a field trip to the Airport Fire Station. I didn't even know that existed -- and it was incredible!

This amazing fireman showed the kids how they get in their gear and taught them every little detail about it. He talked to them through his air mask which I always think is great since a firefighter in full gear talking through an air mask is exactly what would make a child RUN the other way in the event of a fire! Luke loved him.

The fire trucks were seriously insane... and we got to see them spray a little water. I honestly can't imagine how many gallons came out of this thing! This truck could circle an airplane while shooting the water.

Who's that cute little boy in the green shirt?!?! Child had his hand raised pretty much the entire time. He asked approximately 1,902 questions.

And of course we had a super time on Halloween. He went on another field trip to an 'old people' place. (Nursing home....) And we did trunk or treat last night... braved the 'cold'. No but it was seriously cold.
